Dental Staff

Even as a little girl, Dr Wendy Magda knew she wanted to be a dentist. She begun her career as a dental assistant and then a hygienist before moving on to Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. She graduated magna Cum Laude in 2004 and was awarded membership into National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) fraternity. After graduation, Dr Magda began working alongside another dentist. Comfortable in her work environment, she never had any intention of opening her own dental practice. However, an opportunity came along that she couldn’t pass up and in 2006, she launched her practice. Since then, she’s been committed to helping patients beautify their smiles, maintain their dental health and improve their appearance, giving them the confidence they deserve. She says she is particularly proud of the strong family environment she and her staff have created.

Dr. Erkina grew up in Westport, Connecticut. Completed her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at University of Michigan. After 4 long years living in a snowy weather, Dr. Erkina moved back to east coast to study dentistry at University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She pursued dentistry as she comes from a family of dentists and saw immense value in helping people achieve healthier smiles. After graduating, she made her way to Lehigh Valley to complete PGY-1 year general dentistry residency at St. Luke's Hospital. Outside dentistry, Dr. Erkina enjoys hiking, traveling, trying different cuisines and painting.

Diana has been working in the dental field for 21 years and joined our practice in 2013. She looks forward to helping our patients by navigating the ins and outs of your insurance policies, while finding the best financial solution for their dental needs. She grew up in the Lehigh Valley and currently resides in Effort, Pennsylvania with her husband. She enjoys reading, old movies and spending time with her children

Lisa is originally from New York City and has been with the team for a few months now but she is very detailed in helping figure out your insurance with the aim of you achieving your dental needs.

Jean Marie is a licensed Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She has worked in the dental field for 42 years. Jean has worked as an EFDA since 1985 first with a permit and then with her license since 2008. She is certified in CPR and as well as Dental Radiology. Born in Japan, Jean was raised as an Air Force brat. A single parent, her greatest accomplishment is her son Anthony who is her pride and joy. Jean currently resides in the Poconos surrounded by Pennsylvania’s wildlife in the beautiful Pocono Mountains.

Keena has been working in the dental field for 7 years. Gaining her knowledge and training in dentistry from Fortis College. She enjoys helping others and making her patients feel comfortable. Whenever you hear laughter that's were you will find Keena. She has the ability to make you feel at ease. Keena is a mother of 3 and also a fur mom to her cat.

Born in New Jersey, Tawny moved to Pennsylvania when she was a child and now lives in East Stroudsburg with her husband and 3 kids. She started her dental hygiene journey in Dallas Texas and went on to graduate from NHC College in 2011. Tawny has worked as a dental hygienist for the past 10 years. She enjoys meeting new people and educating her patients on their oral health care needs.

Gwen recently joined our staff June 2022. She is excited to learn the ins and outs of what it means to be a dental assistant. She strives to greet every patient with kindness while assisting the doctor. Gwen recently graduated from NYU in May 2022 and currently resides in Effort, PA. She enjoys painting and playing with her two cats.

Lena has been a medical/dental receptionist for the last 25 years. She takes pride in setting the pace for a pleasurable experience with our office from beginning to end.

In her free time she loves spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Wendy was born and raised in NYC, and brought her passion for dentistry with her when she joined our team in February of 2023. With over 30 years of experience in the dental field she enjoys working hands-on with patients and educating them on their dental care.

On weekends she enjoys cooking and entertaining friends & family with her husband in their nature-surrounded home in East Stroudsburg.

Judyanne has over 32 years of dental experience beginning with four years at the front desk and 30 years as a dental hygienist. She is married and has a son, two step-children, and a step-grandson. Her family enjoys camping together. She is a fur-baby mom to two Shiba Inu’s, Max and Tucker. She also participates in fundraisers for cancer research and the Polar Plunge for the Special Olympics.

Jennifer attended Northampton Community College in the Dental Assisting Program in 1991. She has been in the dental field for 32 years, 25 years of that was in Orthodontics (braces). Jennifer decided to get back into General Dentistry and further her education at York Technical Institute to become a licensed Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in 2016. She worked for several offices before joining Dr. Magda's office this year (2023).
